Copyright and License to Publish

Author Licence Policy

Authors publishing in Big.D retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the first publication rights. By submitting a manuscript to Big.D, authors confirm that their work is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration elsewhere. Authors agree to be bound by the journal’s default License to Publish upon acceptance.

All papers published in Big.D are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This license allows others to freely use, distribute, and reuse the work, provided that proper credit is given to the authors and the journal.

Self-Archiving Policy

Preprints: Authors may submit manuscripts previously made available as preprints, provided they have not undergone peer review elsewhere and comply with the journal’s formatting and style requirements. Authors should disclose in the cover letter and in the Further Disclosure in Appendix whether the manuscript has been posted on a preprint server. Upon acceptance and publication in Big.D, authors must update the preprint server to indicate that the paper has been formally published in the journal, including a reference to the final published version.
